Started my Direct Access :P

I thought i'd ring my CBT instructor yesterday just to ask about the DAS and he said come down now and i'll assess you on the 500cc n i'll tell you how long it will take.

I took to it like a duck to water and he said it will only take me 2 days and he'll put me straight in for my test He was impressed with my ability considering i've only ridden a 125cc once before lol
So i'm doing 2 full days this saturday n sunday and hopefully i'll have passed ma test in a couple of weeks!

Does anyone know what the waiting list length is for getting a test? my instructors gonna sort it all out for me but i forgot to ask how long the wait is between module 1 and module 2 etc.

The waiting list varies mate, but generally a few weeks. if you can, ask the dudes not to book the mod 2 until you have done the mod 1. they will tell u why when u ask. cos if you fail your mod1 and your mod 2 is on a couple of days after you can get your money back

in total, for 3days tuition and bike hire and test fees mine was about 450-500 ish.

oh and i done the new test too, it was piss easy

I'm doing it at http://www.mikewilliamsmotorcycletraining.com/ . Its behind Doug Hacking Kawasaki in Bolton and is aparantly one of the best in the UK with a 98% pass rate They also hire out the Bolton test centre at the weekends so you can pratice the Mod1 where you will actually be doing it.

Theyv told me it will be £350 for 2 days, tests, and bike hire. Which i was chuffed about. Can't wait!
