Re: Polishing ,whats best way ?
Don't know if there is a best way unless your prepared to put hours n hours into the prep' (90% of any good job) but there are quick ways
I used industrial nitromors (bodyshop suppliers should have) and the paint bubbled clean off, then stitched cotton , cotton and felt mops on my angle grinder with cutting and polishing soap.
When I polish the bike (spray wax) I go over the frame and swing arm with the residue on the fleece cloth and that's been enough to keep it gleeming.
You can see what I done here:

My prep' time was very low so overall finish isn't the best. If you polish up with soaps avoid abrasive cleaners like brasso, autosol etc and just use cream cleaners or wax. Never used the alu before but have heard it is good.
MM!

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

Re: Polishing ,whats best way ?
well , stripped bike last night and nitromorsed what i wanted to polish , went over it afew times and left it ,have spent the day wearing my fingers to the bone but im chuffed with the result , took afew parts off for painting ,polished the main beams with 1000 grade and then 3 grades of wire wool with autosol and then cloths with t-cut and a metal polish ,all by hand , close to mirror finish ,general polishing over next week will bring it right up , glad i did it ,thanks
