It needs to move quite a way forward to get it flush with the back end. already I have cut the two brackets for that horrid looking 'spolier' thing some bikes have. Also due to the taper of the lense by the time its moved forward the gap between the fairing and lense is getting quite big, so at that point I left that alone and found something else to do so my brain could work on the idea.

I have just found these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-REAR-ROUND-LE ... dZViewItem

if the dimensions are right they may look cool - best of both worlds.

Not sure if it will work, but what about turning the bracket the other way round?

Coming together nicely - always liked that colour scheme :smt023

Bet that 4-2-1 Micron's gonna give your mid range a real boost :smt026
Need some FCR's in there though :smt002

LED cluster has a better "All together" look but that undertray is "Kickass" - get your Dremmel out !! :smt003

They should fit an SP seat unit no problem. Its exactly the same fitting as ordinary seat panels its just got a hump instead of a seat pad :smt001

hi andy

nicely done mate, lovin yer work, this thread has answered alot of my questions, cos i fancied the clear lens.

just got the ermax undertray from a mate who crashed his zxr400 and has now turned it into a track tool, hed bought the tray unit brand new, so i got it at a snip for £50! BRUCEY BONUS!

seen some nice led arrow indys in gerickes, all metal in black, with an amber signal on the back too, look sweet!

got a few Q's so i hope you can help me out here fella,
1- fitting undertray, i have no instructions, and there are only 2 holes on it to secure it at the back under the old tail light unit, do i have to drill anymore...and does it get in the way of the pillion pegs?

2- tail tidy, have you sourced on yet and how are you gonna go about the indys, wrap em in heat shrink? cos i also think id need a white led or normal light to illuminate the plate, but unsure on how to fix it, any ideas anyone?

top job, keep it commin cos im gonna post pics of mine with before and afters

ta andy

Hi bestie, well done on the undertray, mine was £90 by the time it was on the doorstep. I am after a second myself so I can cut it out for the clear rear light and see how I like it.

Fitting is a doddle. Remove one rear at a time and slip it in, mine has just got the two bolts at the back also, but I would like to see atleast 2 more further forward, so I will probably make up a bracket for either side, or use DZUS fasteners, just for piece of mind, it is rock hard as it is, because of the way its pinched between the two rears.
Fits around pegs.

Tail tidy, Ermax can supply one, designed for the undertray, but its extra, and a lot extra for what it is. all I'm going to do is get some flat alloy plate.

The shotgun lights have little bits of clear plastic at the base supposed to illuminate it, cant comment on how effective though yet. You could use those bolts with Led's set in, they look cool, or get a simple and small 4 led plate light on ebay.

If you wanted a pukka tail tidy get an Rrsend or universal jobby. Good luck cant wait to see pics

Ado andy... quick question, you know the price did you negotiate with em or just pay the price they ask cos if i can negotiate thats cool cos £140 seems a tad steep in my book but still! all in all i just dont think the site explains the product well for ppl like me who no zip squat about it. thank god for ppl like you who do :smt005

ah cheers for clearing that up for me as well rob
