First freefall was from 3500ft. I will get a DVD of all my jumps soon so will get a few pics from 13000ft.rene wrote:whats that at about 4,000ft? looks awsome!
It feels awesome. Everytime I go on the bike at 120mph it reminds me of jumping. Nothing like the sound of the wind rushing past you whether you are on the floor or in the sky.

how long do you fall for from 3500? takes me about 28 mins to glide down from that without thermaling

Re: Another hobby on the cards
You get about a 3 minute canopy ride from that height. That's with the student canopys. The pro's use tiny canopy's and can be down within a minute from 3500ft. Without the canopy you can get from 13,000ft to 3500ft in about 45 secsrene wrote:how long do you fall for from 3500? takes me about 28 mins to glide down from that without thermaling
I also take it you are a glider pilot? What do you fly? I have flown K21's, K18 and K13's. I love gliding and I will go back to it when I get to old to jump out of perfectly serviceable aircraft!!

Re: Another hobby on the cards
I've just added the video of my jumps to my web site. They are in black and white as I couldn't get the DVD player to show color. Will get them updated soon.
