hello

i have a datatool system 2 alarm, which i think is a cat1 alarm, however, my insurance company MCE, advised me not to disclose this on my documents, cos if the bike were nicked and the alarm didnt work i would be void for a claim.

they said it was an added bonus, but as it was garaged it was fine...

i used to have a meta v357 fitted, but it went mad when i jet washed the bike. apparently its not a sealed unit and i buggered it proper!

ive no experience with toad, but datatool are the ones for me.....i gues the top guys being datatool, acumen, toad and meta.....as always ebay should help yer

cheers fella

laserline 860t (CAT1)
only because i fit them ;)
but i've actually got a cyclone alarm on mine, which isnt thatcham approved, but its fitted to thatcham levels and works a treat, for £30 i can't knock it really, bit of a tit to get the built in immobaliser/remote start to work but its all good now :D
cheers

i love that. ^^

and back on topic, my "immobilisers" are all of the big chunky metal variety, not the electronic variety.
