Bet it looks horrid the opposite side on. Needs a nice CF hugger or something trick like that.

Horrid :smt017 out of the blue on Friday morning i had a phone call from 'Performance Bike' magazine. " we would like to run an article on your bike". So yesterday off we go to Peterborough for a photo shoot. Never heard the word 'Horrid' all day! The quote of the day from Rupert Paul was "its not a zxr 400 its a 400 grand prix bike".

I dont know what edition it it will be in certainly not December as its out already. They wanted it there asap so could be next edition? As for plugging the mag? quite alot of negative comments and not much interest shown compared to other sites, so i guessed no place for a one-off special. So what could i actually say?

who are the other sites? I expect we have a much smaller demographic than most other sites. I know i saw it on mcn ninjas and that generated just as many comments as here and just as many not so complimentary.

Not sure what you could say tbh, just as a point of contact for all other zxr400 owners goto this website.....

I didnt know of the mcn ninja site but good feedback! Regarding a plug for this site? its very hard to get a plug for everyone thats helped or helping our racing ventures. Mention an article in PB and help comes flooding in. Rock oil have come up with a lucrative deal(there synth 4 racing is the absolute dogs bullocks!) RTD have offered more help and advice...John Warrington gives us free dyno time...RDH Scaffolding pay for entries...John Bird gets us parts at cost...Gareth at Reactive suspension sorts our suspension to perfection for peanuts ect ect so getting them all a mention is hard when really its about an interesting readable article. I work on zxr 400's soley for a living, mainly tuning, manufacturing body kits ect, building race bikes so you can imagine i have alot of contact with zxr owners and very few use this site.

Thing is, if theres something the site is lacking (other than people who visit) we need to know about it, that way it can be addresed. My feeling is we gonna have a good summer next year because of the rule changes with taking your test, i reckon alot of people will be into smaller cc bikes and the 400cc market is a category which fits in so fingers crossed things may pick up.

But in the meantime we need to know how to improve.
