Most forums i visit allow you to view only certain forums as a guest. Your definatley not allowed to post or view members profiles.

normaly i wont even look at a fourm that makes you become a user before viewing it. Guests should just have more restricted rights (ie dont load pics ect)

on another fourm im on theres always loads of guests compaired to users, bet most are bots
