despite the critisism, cos i could give plenty, i think it takes balls to own to what you did and to announce it on a forum for all to read is definately asking for a slating.
It seems youve come to the point of asking yourself this cos youve learned from your mistake, which is another things that takes balls, admitting your wrong.
Getting the balance right for choosing which is more important isnt going to be easy when a family is involved. Reading what you have written perhaps track days are in order for you? You get to wring the tits off your bike in the safest possible environment, plus theres an ambulance should you need it. You'll still need to fork out on the proper gear and a bit on the bike to get it track worthy (less to get it road worthy perhaps?) but you will be safer, have immediate medical attention and you wont need to pass your test or need insurance to do it. but any money you do save on getting it roadworthy it may be a good idea to spend on track riding lessons?
so the result here is that you got to keep the bike, you get your speeding fix, your less likely to be killed track riding than on the road so you can still be around for your family and friends , hell they could even go and watch and take a BBQ with you? Only downside i can see is that you will need to pay for track sessions.
whatever you do tho, do it properly or not at all.
What should I do
