Re: New bikes
i dont even think a 750 would cut the mustard mate,
if i was to change bikes i would only go for 1000cc or bigger
i was tempted to get a zx10r until they feckin ruined it!

Re: New bikes
Apparently Kawasaki are currently working on a "whole new" bike for 2010. Something to do with stepping up their game in WSBGemini wrote:i was tempted to get a zx10r until they feckin ruined it!

I'm very interested...Kawasaki recently filed patents for an in line four cylinder motorcycle engine with an uneven firing order. While similar to the design from Yamaha in the latest R1, the Kawasaki engine design steps things up a bit by adding some electronics to aid the uneven firing order.

Re: New bikes
Surely an uneven firing order is just begging for the engine being a candidate for det later down the line?
I've got a copy of MCN here somewhere, they had an article about next year's ZX10, lemme go find it and I'll quote some up if it's interesting.
Nothing particularly concise at all. Stacked gearbox and a longer swingarm are the only things they've printed that'd make an iota of difference realistically.
