He's at court today as he's still not admitting liability, however his insurance made me an offer to settle before it went to court. I declined.

My licence is zooming it's way back to me now too so we'll see what happens at court
Let us know what happens dude :D

bloody hell!! Glad you're still alive and on the mend! I work with cows quite regularly (it's not a normal school I work in!) and they're up there with trees and concrete on the list of things I wouldn't like to crash into! Hope you're back up and running properly soon.

Hi mate ,just read your posts.
Where did all this happen? Is it local ,I see your in the Matlock area. Im in Derby,so am keen to avoid this bloody cow at all costs while on my regular weekend rides around our lovely county.
Glad your on the road to recovery now though.

I'm pretty sure that cow no longer exists.

Sorry, I misunderstood,I thought he said the police had told him that he'd only clipped its leg and that the same cow had caused another accident on the same road.

Yeah the cow survived. Rubbed salt in the wound. Although it did happen just over a year ago so nature may have called by now...

Yeah, it happened on slack hill just before matlock. Twice. In 4 months

So. Er... Does £50,000 sound reasonable? No reason for asking...
