Well, when you buy them they come in a box that states " Track use only" and 99% of them also have a decal on them that also says the same thing.
They are developed for track use !
Just got a mail in from the racer who bought the new Bito's from me, bare in mind they are trying to run them through an airbox and they have been tuned to run with just funnels / trumpets:
We have fit the flatslides to the bike, and we modified a cold air box we had bought a year ago for the CV carbs, that we had never fitted.
So not the ideal situation to be using them in:
We put the bike on a Dyno machine, to see what we would have to change the jetting to. It ran perfectly, with no jetting changes needed. But when I took the bike for a run, it was breaking down between 10 and 12 on the rev range, but would pull through after that to redline.
I'll just extract that important bit to those non believers out there:
It ran perfectly, with no jetting changes needed.

Now, I offered a set up early on this year (maybe last) and the proposition was rejected
I'll end on this:
They look fantastic, and we will sort the problem out. But I have my last race for the season this Sunday, and I'm currently coming 2nd in the championship, in my class. Would be great to have this sorted in time.
MM!
PS. I've already started a "jar" for getting myself a set
