Flippin Winter boots

Post by Mori Man »

Most days I wear my ELF racing boots on the bike but with the colder weather now in it gets a bit chilly !

Last weekends short tour I found myself putting in some chemical heat pads around my toes (specific made) and that was just so comfortable riding back home again :smt003

So the other day I decides to start wearing my Winter boots , they have a type of commando sole on them , gussets up the Tongue and are Goretex lined - very toasty :smt004

Thing is the freakin soles keep snatching on the rearsets when I go to put my foot down and have just about come a cropper on numerous occasions - thankfully getting my feet freed up in time before the bike topples ! shocking

So they are back in the cupboard and the heat pads are back out :smt005

Now i know why the race boots have pretty much no grip on their soles , doh! confuddled

So be wary what foot wear you choose to use on your bike , just might save you from an embarrassing moment !

MM!
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

I found the funky bits on my Sidi Vertigo Corsa's sometimes hook over the plate of my rearsets.

It's got my heartrate going a few times, but no mishaps... yet! oldman
