Hi all,

Had a couple of outings on my race bike, did the NG round at Brands and the Bemsee Snetterton round.

Busy painting the wheels to make it look pretty for the Brands GP round in May.

Some of the 400 rounds are televised on Motors TV, so a couple of races from Snetterton had me in it with even a mention of my name in one :o)
Getting back into the racing now after a 25 year gap, and improving each ride, so theirs life in the old body yet!

Love the build threads, keep them coming

Greetings to all
Wes

Im still here, too. Not posting much as normal though. Im either working or sleeping currently, so not much time for internet antics!

ZXR still going strong, but soon to take a back seat to my new versys which it kinda has already while i run it in. Got ideas of turning mine into a track bike for a little while, but also had some ideas of fightering. Tracking seems to be the most apealing option at the moment, so well see.

hehe iv been hiding in this so called city "winchester" LOL. Nice to get to the open roads tho. Went from Winchester to bristol to pick a m8 up then drove up to birmingham then to manchester then all the way back to winchester the other day, and the trusty zxr400 is still happy as pie =) .... Not so much the rear tyre as it had some seriouse seriouse riding on it this weekend. Is anyone around the hampshire area who will be going to the poole quay nights ???????????

(Btw good luck with the test!, i read som1 who is doing mod 1 soon. Good luck again and dont do what i did on mod 2, go through a red light 2 mins b4 finishing the test *doh*.... it was a pain in the butt waiting 2 weeks to redo somthing that was a brain fart moment lol.)

Hey all, I've been cooped up in the middle of England trying to sort my bloody bike out, things keep breaking :smt010 but hey ho lol.
Anyone around the mid-Staffordshire area? Stoke, Stafford etc. I've started riding out on it again, Basset's Pole and Tern Hill (Stormy Petrel) are the main run-outs, lovely roads, give us a shout if you want some company on these rides, me, my dad (1998 VFR800) and my mate (2003 ZX-6R) are happy to get a convoy going biggrin

Safe riding out there lads and lasses :smt001

Hi all, I've not realy been hiding as such just trying to get my bike somewhere near road legal again but as I'm a lazy bugger it's taking a lot longer than it should :pmsl . I'm usually a regular at the Stormy Petrel aswell Nick, so as soon as it's finished i'll no doubt see you out there, haven't ventured out to Basset's Pole before so might try and get out there later in the year aswell! Hoping to have the thing painted up and get the decals on before too long, thhen it's just a case of bolting a few other shiny bits on, re-jet the carbs for the new system, get some braided lines sorted out and try and make a decision as to what indicators I'm gona run on the front and it should be somewhere near, but no doubt I'll find something else expensive that i want to fit!!
Cheers

Hi all, been a long time since I sold my H2 sp track bike. It was just too small for me for track use.
I bought this GSXR 6 in Dec 2005 and only sold it last year to get into Supermoto trackdays.

Had this K2 600 for nearly 4 years now. After my 99 ZX6R got nicked from Mallory BSB in 2006.

Owned this 08 DRZ400sm from new, bought quite a few nice goodies for it.

After doing an SM trackday and enjoying it loads I'm converting a "kicker" DRZ into a full time SM bike with the option of slicks or road legal rubber. Brembo radial caliper and M/C conversion, 320mm Braking wavey disc, Yoshimura TRC Ti exhaust, SM usd front forks and yokes. Planned engine mods 434cc, RHC 187 inlet cam, kicker exhaust cam, RHC valves and springs. Slim chance I'll go Yosh 450 kit same as Schwantz used in 2001. STM slipper clutch.
Before the conversion began.....

hi all ,
still around my h1 has been on hibernation for few months(back on the road now) but didn't miss it as i got a vfr vtec as primary bike .I log on here few times to have a nose but it seems to me that its a quiet site comparing with others, always wanted to have a bimble with fellow bikers (specially zxr owners) but not much interest has been shown to any attempt of a meeting . Having said that its a brilliant forum with valuable members which for many times i benefited of their knowledge's. Work keeps me busy most of the time but still find time to have a look in here and i will try to bring my share of contribution to this site whatever that may be

Riding my (other) bikes and getting on with life. Occasionally lurking.

Got some ideas in the pipeline for the ZXR, but I'll speak up when I've got something worth saying.
In the garage:
Kawasaki ZXR400 L3 - shiny
Suzuki DR800 - bouncy
1978 Suzuki GS400 - PROJECT RETRO RACER!
Kawasaki GPz500S - for sale soon
Honda CG125 BR-J - in bits
