Re: running tomorrow
I'm alive and well
Finished 2452th of 3300 starters............................my time was 21 minutes faster that the last marathon I ran back in October thats a personal best................very pleased with that. I paced myself perfectly pushed hard where I could and eased off on the many hills
Bit sore now................I've got some moderate chaffing on my arm and on the back of one knee. And serious chaffing in the bottom area
Both hamstrings are sore left calf is very tight and my right knee is fit to explode.......................
I'm taking ibrufin for the pain and will hit the gym this morning for a recovery session

Re: running tomorrow
Next marathon is in October and my last one in my current age group...............I've every intention of going even faster try and break 5.30
It is all in the mind if you believe you can do it you will. The pain is nothing ignore it it will go away
Mind you I say two guys carted off in an ambulance yesterday.......................
