Make a bigger order and I will send the lot cheaper :smt003

Stumble your way through this - I am sure I have done a user guide on it before , so search !

http://www.kawasaki-motors.com/for_user ... earch.html

Find the microfiche for your bike look through the pages, click on the parts you want, on the right click the tab and it adds to your want list, once finished hit the big tab on that list and it will jump back to an inventory ,

http://www.kawasaki-motors.com/for_users/partscatalog/

click top right tab to get prices in Yen.

Pages are encrypted as it is the factories online parts search service so you can not translate.

The parts inventory page will translate partially.

I will do a quich rundown thread on how to use......

I bought mostly genuine bearings when I rebuilt mine. At the time the head bearings were 35 a peice, I've got recipt somewhere but I reckon I paid 180 that day for genuine bearings cos I couldnt get them anywhere else.

But they are not genuine - they are Koyo , so go to any Koyo dealer with the codes and order (not the part number the actual code on the bearing cup).

The Tokico's are used on some Suzukis - buy the seals and dust boots from a Suzuki dealer and they will be nearly a third of the price shocking Again not genuine, made buy a company & supplied to all manufacturers using them. Think some Yam's use too but Suzuki are the cheapest.

If you look in a parts cataloque and it says that part fits your bike plus a bundle of others - look to see if one is a Suzuki, they same part will be cheaper ! Kawasaki are the dearest of all the makers as they have the smallest market , Honda should be the cheapest cause they have a huge slice of the market but they don't swap parts between models much. Suzuki use loads of the same part across a wide range and this keeps their costs down. Yamaha are mid price.

Thats cheap!

There all actually Koyo bearings same as in the Hondas but don't forget these are hardened precision made bits of equipment.

The swining arm bearings arn't cheap, about 15gbp each I think, I replaced them in the swining arm fitted to the bike Craig bought about a week before I sold it.

Be glad you don't have a single sided swingarm.. the main hub bearing is 60quid plus vat.. and theres 2 other bearings in there too!

many old bikes are brought by young kids as they think there 'fast cheap fun' but neglet to service and change bearings.. these are important parts and well worth the money!

would just like to point out that i have been doing a lot of hunting around and then i came across Wemoto.. who i have seen before, but never used...

for the bearings alone (as they dont have the seals) £58! thats the fronts rear and head stock, then adding the postage costs etc.. it comes to about £75, thats still half the price, the seals alone from Cradley are gona cost £30

Not sure what the weight will be but if package under 1Kg then 2,800yen by 3 day express if its closer to 1.25Kg then 3,250 and at 1.5kg 3,700 Yen

Bigger bearings will have at least 200g in them
