Fancy a cheap trackday with a good cause?

Post by TyeNoodle »

Sorry if this in the wrong section, if it is could a mod move it please?

We are hosting our final charity trackday of 2011 at RAF valley, Anglesey, on the 3rd&4th September. With Bikes Saturday, and Cars Sunday it promises to be another fun packed weekend!

Laid out like yer' average trackday, grouped sessions according to abilities, instruction on hand from some expert track riders (and me) and plenty of tracktime!

It's cheap, £60 for each day!

The course is well laid out, a combination of high speed sweepers and technical slow speeders. On the grippiest tarmac you have ever ridden on (stops fighter jets from falling off the runway in the rain!), and its nice and wide too, so Ideal for newcomers and experts alike.

Varied range of bikes on the track too, from full on TT superbikes, supermotos, tourers, ER5's, 2 Strokes, etc.. All welcome!

We are on course for raising between £25,000 and £30,000 for the following charities;

Anglesey carers, Royal Air Force association, Help for Heroes and North Wales Air Ambulance.

100% of the money goes to them, nothing spent on Admin, advertising etc so you know it's going to a good cause!

It's a winner, pay money, turn up, have a fantastic day then go home happy in the knowledge that you've done some charity work!

If interested, email valleytrackweekend@yahoo.co.uk and you will be sent a registration form and details for you to fill in and return. Please note, this is pre-book only due to it being an active RAF base.

A bit far for me mate - I live by RAF Wittering! But if you send us a Hercules over to pick up me and the bike, I'lll pop over :smt002
I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).
