A couple of questions for my ZXR400

Post by edhall92 »

Hi, just some questions i am unsure about which would really help me out. How do i go about tightening my wing mirrors as anytime i accelorate slightly fast my right hand mirror folds in which is rather frustraiting. :smt012

Also where can i get a rear hugger for my L5 as after cleaning my bike its Shocking the about of filth is back there after only about 100 miles.

Finally does anybody have any expieriance replacing the ZXR stickers in the tank as mine are looking a bit tatty and need replacing but im unsure how to remove the old ones safley leaving very little marks, with heat possibly? confuddled

Thanks, any advise would be of great help, Ed

I suspect there might be a nut in behind the mirror glass that you can tighten but as to getting in there................???????

And the tank decals are I suspect laquacerd over and removing them will involve a new paint job

Hey!

If you pull out the small black pad on top of the mirror hinge there will be a 6mm allen key bolt, You can can tighten it up using that, but word of warning! Dont tighten it up to tight especially if you have to put the mirrors in or out often as it puts to much stress on the side of the nose cone, and it may crack! As i almost found out!...

As for the stickers on the tank i'm not to sure as on my tank they are under the lacquer!
