Re: What you guys think?
the FZR's are said to be the fastest on track 400 and will respond to tunning the best as well
got to admit i dont think there the best looking though

Re: What you guys think?
i quite like them. a mate at uni had one and we looked at getting one for my fiancee before we bought the gpz.
look pretty good but not quite as good as the zxr (usd forks and of course hoover tubes
). stock paint schemes are a bit lame too. much better looking than a cbr/gsxr/vfr though.
seem a bit more roomy than the zxr.
don't know about performance cos i'd be comparing against the lass at uni who had hers restricted. seemed to be alright round corners though.

Re: What you guys think?
My mate rides one, but my ZXR is faster and better looking. I found his very thin to sit on and the bars are much narrower, the seat makes the ZXR feel like luxury.
The handly is razor sharp but not as stable as the ZXRs, a bit twitchy. The brakes are awesome. The main difference between the FZR and the ZXR is because the FZR has an EXUP valve the power delivery is very linear, unlike the powerbandesque delivry of the kwaka.
Probably the coolest thing about the FZR is the noise the EXUP makes when you turn the ignition on.

Re: What you guys think?
my bro in law had one and i was gonna buy it off him but it was well and truly shagged! nice bike tho and very nice to ride but didn't cut like the zxr.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Re: What you guys think?
There not bad if in good condition, higher weight center than the zxr's, quick turn in and a little less stable through corners but good fun. shame they look naff though.

Re: What you guys think?
does the fzr400 use the deltabox chassis like other yamy's? cuz they are meant to be super stiff!
