Ok guys i finally got a rectifier, but the plug that connects to the rectifier was damanged!! i have checked everywere for this plug maplin and electrical stores etc!!!

No Joy!!

What the hell do you call the plug that connects the rectifier!!

Any 1 got 1 layin around?

Any links to were i can get my hands on 1!!

its a 6 slot plug standar like on all off the ZXR's

Seems to me that there may be nothing wrong with your orginal rectifier if the plug was damaged.

I'll bet it was a bit burnt/melted ?

You'll never find something like it in any shop/electrical store that I've ever seen
And I doubt if Kawasaki sell it as a separate part..............it's part of the loom

I'd just make up 6 separate connectors and plug each one into it's correct spot

The rectifier fitted was the wrong 1! so am guessing thats whats wronggg...the rectifier on the zxr needs plug so u cant reli make make individual connectors

the plug is melted.....

You should be able to get some female spade connectors and just cut the old plug off and put a connector on each wire.

OR

get an old knackered loom and cut the plug of that and wire that in

but the problem is gettin the knackerd loom!!!

have you tried vehiclewiringproducts?
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.
