That ol' familiar itch...

Post by Vard66 »

Sunny today. Lots of bikes out today.

Came about half twelve, and I've sat and watched thirty or forty bikes buzz by along the high street, I start to get this urge.

'I want to be out there, doing that', I think.

It's no good. A few more sunny days like that one and I'll be buzzing with impatience.

I've got to get the ZXR back on the road...
Vard.

Yeah. I also have pretensions of not being daft enough to get soaked and frozen when I can blatantly avoid it by driving instead...

I seem to remember every year there's a slight glimpse of spring, brfore falling back into heavy snow and ice in february. Trust me it's not biking weather yet! which is good because mine's still in a million pieces in the shed.

True. That said, she hasn't been run since mid October at the latest, so I really ought to do SOMETHING with her...

Been riding to work every day since New Year. I would say it's always biking weather ...... just not for the bike. Mine looks like it has been sat in a garage full of sea salt for a year :smt010

Gonna be a bitch to clean up for summer!

Still foggy and -ing cold around here.

The ice has gone - but to replace it I just had to swerve around some 6ft sheet of metal in the road instead! Reported it to the Po-Po but it had been stolen in the 5 or so minutes it took them to get to the scene.

Pikey's are good for Redditch sometimes... :smt003
