puttign a sp seat unit opn a non sp

Wellswhat do i need to do any one done it before? ive got me a nice sp seat unit to put on my stock H2

I have done this with my H1! All i did was, did away with the locking system used for the back seat, made a couple of light brackets (right angled or there abouts) and attached them to where the locking system used to be. Rem to tap a thread through the braket or spot weld a nut to the back side. Then screw your bolt through the seat an into the bracket. Though there was a bit of trail and error getting them set to the right position, but they work ok. As long as no one sits their fat ass on the thing!
I also drilled and tapped holes at the front of the seat, the holes in the seat unit should line up with the sub frame so it shouldn't be to messy
When getting the brackets to the right position just check that your rear light is in the right position.
