Have to say i had an amazing weekend
Went up with my dad with him on his GS n one of his mates on a R1100s n met another mate up there, was a nice trip up, absolutely boiling the whole way up
Camped there and stayed the whole weekend, the only complaint about it was there wasnt alot goin on there, there were maybe 30/40 stalls most of which sold no name chinese sh*te clothing, couple of decent stalls with the latest helmets goin for absolute bargains! My dads mate picked up the new schuberth (sp i think?
) for 150quid so hes slamming it straight on ebay for 200 as theyre bout 220 brand new! I also managed to pick up a brand new set of oxford sports luggage for a tenner!?!?! Cudnt belieive it! Was shocked that there wasnt a single stall that sold Roof Boxer V helmets! Was after one n thought id get one on the cheap. Just gnna get one off the net instead.
There were a few bands on in the hall at night but they were appaling, for sum reason all the stalls shut at about 7/8 which meant there was feck all to do at night except getting pissed at the tents :p
There was also sum stupid Camel who thought it would be smart to tune his race bike for a race the next day at 11-3pm and rev the nuts off the fucker every 10 mins to piss everyone off :smt013 thank f*** for earplugs when ur trying to sleep!
Aside from the lack of things going on was a wicked weekend! Plenty of bikes n a few customs on desplay!
Not suprisingly mine was the one zxr400 i saw
Absolutely amazing fun on the B road twisties even if it did take an hour and a half longer :p
Thoughts go out to the couple who were hit by a car on the M6 Northbound at around 4.30pm this afternoon! Its thought they both died as a car hit them as they were travelling the opposite way from me and my dad. I didnt see the collision but actually remember seeing them pass me and we nodded at eachother. My dad got a txt from his mate who saw the collision happen about a yard from him.
