:rant promised my pride and... that we were gonna be freinds. it only done 1500 miles in the three years before i bought her now @28k, so 1st oil change and filter to silkolene fully synth, coolant system full of rust so kept on flushing crap out still overheating resulted in blown head gasket, so barells honed base and head gascket replaced cam chain done (by garage) re-fitted, fresh coolant nice. scared i put semi synthetic in upon rebuild now clutch barely works and is getting worse yes (ongoing saga no)? :smt012 ,sexy new chain and sprockets nice, new throttle cables slick, new plugs alreet for 50 miles or so, misfire new ht leads misfire, my electric tester also packs up while i got coils out f*ckin b+q shite :smt014 AND :ffs what are the chances of a coil packin up the same time the head gasket decides to let go ?

f**kin annoyed thats me

rant over, until i amateurley get the sockets oot again !

whoo, just legged it to the offy for another can or four
maybe i should read zen and the art of motorcycle maintanance again for the crashendo toward the end, all my spare daylight time will be spent on getting

big mistake replacing Semi syn oil with full syn and then back to semi syn......................no wonder you have a fooked clutch after that

Harsh mate, some light motor maintainance has turnt into me currently having the crank out. A blessing in disguise I reckon as upon inspection there's a fair bit of swarf in the motor probably from a previous sezuire that needs cleaning out. What part of Bristol you from? I'm in Henbury, shout me if you need any help or parts :).

pity you said nothing about that at the time in my thread about blown head gascket
