Fuel Tank problem

Hi,

Got a problem with the fuel tank on my bike. The overflow pipe / drain pipe that passes through the tank from the filler has a leak in it inside the tank and fuel is leaking out. If I seal it up at the bottom water then gets into the fuel.

Has anyone had a similar experience and found a way or someone who can fix it?

its a new one on me ..

plug it at both ends ? i've had one get blocked before now it just meant i had to be careful opening the petrol cap if it had been raining as the water around the cap would slosh into the tank if it was on the sidestand.
