robB: you'll be delighted to know...
My fiancee and I were down at her parents last wknd and I was giving her brother a hand with the 600 diversion he's managed to get given by a mate who's gone travelling (well you wouldn't pay money for an old divi would you?)
Anyway, it conked out on him so we drained the tank and carbs, which looked like someone had poured a tin of tomato soup in with the petrol - yummy. Got it running but still a bit rough so I suggested he ran some redex through. Apparently it's done the trick and he's now able to get beyond the end of his road! (It's a bloody steep climb and it would hardly do it while running toad)
So yeah, all hail redex

i use it when im changing the plus, just before you change to the new ones pour a small amount through the top of the carbs about the same as whats in the 99p bottles and run it untill there isnt any smoke coming out of it, works wonders for clearing it out, but a word of warning dont stand behind the exhaust when starting it as there is flames that pop out of it and alot of white smoke then it gos blue and black.
when you put your new plugs in it and take it out you will certainly relise the difference it makes
