URGENT HELP PLEASE FAST!

Hi,

So last weekend I was racing home in Sweden, came in from Qual. 2 and heard the bike ticking as hell sand the temp being all the way up to boiling. No good, but what are you to do its race.

So went out and ran it and it held togetter but it is ticking as hell, way more than before, but the temp was fine. So what to do now?

I have never opend the engine my self but thinking of checking the valves is it hard? what else could it be?

id say check camchain tensioner mate. Where you in the holding area for ages? do you just use water in the radiator?

Tighttend the camchain its been moded with a skrue that sticks out at be end. Gessing I'll have to open to see how much I'm tightening. Water plus Pumpfulid or what its called in english.

jepp. as said the temp was ok during the race so no prob. there I think. The oillevel is ok. gona change the oil and filters now but want it to stopp ticking before I put the new stuff in.

ahh, ive seen them racetrack tensioners before!, thats how kawasaki should of made them, so you can manually adjust them. I tried to do it to mine after it went in practice.....but f*cked it up..and ended up with a bent valve

holding area, i mean where you all gather before they let you out on track. Sometimes they like to keep you in there in till your engine melts! especially if your like me and zoom down there on the first call

Yeah, we where in the holding area for ages. Didnt evan think about it, like 5-10min they delayed the delay
The prob. with the racetrack tensinoner is the service guy did it last year and now i dont know how much im doing by turning it.
Hopping to figure out the prob. and fix it so Im ready to ride the 6/6-08
