wot same problems as mine, i must say this is a fuk**kin ghost! i have searched every inch of wire on that bike, checked all earths n joins, no problems! i mean fu*k me sideways, upside down and back to front! i cant say how fustrating this is! i cant see any more broken wires ave cleaned all contact etc. last resort i think is to change components as that is the last thing it MUST BE. 1 idea i have tho is, coz it sounds like it runs on a cilender or 2 less, i think. iv added a wire off the coil input -> to the frame. with a bulb in the middle. the idea being, that the bulb should light wen it fires but wen it splutters and dies it should give me a good idea which if any are faulty and not firing. then trace that wire back. not tried it yet but should work.

mines the same. well embarrasing as sometimes it backfires and makes all the oldies jump hehe. not as embarrasing as leaving a front disc lock on at a bike do and trying to go. :smt009

seems a few people are having these problems yet it seems to be a problem without a soloution, i tried the bulb thing, it didn't work lol, but it did prove that a live 12v short of the earth wil produce the same effect. whether this means a live short in a component.but only affected by water mainly, i dont know.are some bikes just tainted or cursed?

you may want to take a look at the fuel pump solenoid.....it has two inputs that it uses to determine fuel pump state.....one is a starter input and the other is the ignition input from one coil......if either of these inputs is not functioning fuel pump wont run.......
cheers

Well the cutting out seems more electrical that fuel related but i see wot u mean tho. 2 of the coil wires both go straight to it, i assume you mean the relay ye? so if thats buggered coz of the amount its been dropped, i spose that could cause problems, if there was a short. i might look into replacing it. relays dont seem to be expensive, but if i do, hope this fixes things. so annoying 2day couldn't let it idle going to work coz it would die every time.

not quite.think im gettign there slowly, it stil cut out but iv literally just found out like 2 mins ago that the black wire to the coil is broken inside, n the engine like stutters when u move it. not checked the other 3 yet but hopefully this is related to the problem.
