Ive got a 92 L track bike!
Bike starts fine 1st time but after i do 1st session it cuts out before i even stop when revs get low! After this the bike wont start, turn key and lights come on but as soon as i press start button they dim and it doesnt start! Get it started with bump start no problem but again when i come too stop after session it cuts out!
I have changed battery and been told it could be rectifier and i do have spare but can anyone tell me where this is on my model?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Cheers
Dan

if its rectifier, tank off and its right in front of you mate, sits on the opposite side of the battery tray
These things are sent to try us!!

check the voltage across the battery terminals with the engine running, should be around 14.blah.. if its not, then its the charging circuit.. most probably the rectifier.. possibly the actual alternator (genny), either burnt n crispy windings, or cracked magnets.
if its a track/race bike, just bin the lot, buy a spare battery and run it on total loss.
