Green Inner, Metal Outer Wheel?

Hi guys,

I saw this wheel for sale, its slightly different as the inner spoke is green but the outer is unpainted metal.

Has anyone seen anything like it before, or got any more information on it?

What sort of info are you after?

Its not hard to paint / strip paint on a wheel.

thats a just a gree rim that had the adges stripped of paint, nothing special about it im afraid.

I had wondered if anyone thought it might've come from another bike or whatever...anyway I guess its possible that it got scratched on the outer-rim and the owner stripped the whole thing back?

he'll have done it because when it's all polished up and shiny he thought it looked good. They're a bugger to keep clean though, I used to have a pair of black ones with polished outers but got bored of cleaning them all the time.
