Ive had this problem aswell with my old brake lever. Fitted new braded hoses, changes the master cylinder springs and that bled them for ages and they seemed to be alot better but after a while they went back to being the same as they were before!
So i bought Brembo Radial master cylinder which has worked wonders as its got a bleed valve on the top of the master cylinder aswell. But i think the calipers need a little work as the seals dont look great and not all the pistons are moving freely enough! Will let you know how they are went i service them this week.
When you pull the lever does t seem to not really work and they all of a sudden there is loads of pressure???

Re: Spongy brake lever
when the bike is stationary the lever pulls back a bit too much
but when riding it u hardly have to touch the lever and the bike nose dives
so it'll do me
seems to have something to do with the brakes being warm?...

Re: Spongy brake lever
Orite well mine got worst went the brakes/fluid gets hot, i had to do the last couple of sessions around Donington without a front brake lol. So i changed it which made a hell of a difference. Just got to do the seals nows and it should be alot better.
