Hello mate and welcome to the forum!

Ive swapped my kmh speedo for a mph one, but i just straight swapped them i didnt change the backing, theres no need to do that. If your worried about the correct mileage then just wind the speedo forwards or backwards depending what way it needs to go. :smt001

yeah just swap them over :)

They are exactly the same inside just have a different backing. I take it yours is an import? In which case when you disconnect the speedo you will need to replace it with a derestrictor as the kmh speedo wires into the loom which tells the CDI when you reach 180kmh and you wont go any faster. What you could do so you can go faster is to leave the KMH speedo plugged into the loom and just cable tie is somewhere out the way and safe. :smt003
