Has anyone changed there Headlight Bulbs, One has blown on dip and I was wondering if anyone has fitted standard H4 60/55w instead of the 60/35w standard fitted bulb. If so any problems with running two 55w instead of 35w?
If not any idea where i can get a replacement 60/35w bulb.
Cheers

Re: Headlight Bulb replacement
I changed my bulbs for the 55W H4 units but they didn’t fit properly. The ZXR bulbs locating lugs are not set in the standard positions and there is also a small notch taken out of the body of the bulb.
Before you fit the 55W bulb you will have to cut the locating lugs off the sides (leave the top one on) and cut out the notch to make it fit. I pushed the old bulb through a piece of polystyrene and drew round it to get the spacing for the notch and after marking up the new bulb I cut it out with snips.
WARNING - I'm not sure if it was the particular bulbs I fitted, but the 55W units were not as bright as the 35W Standard items. I changed my bulbs back to standards as I ride at night quite a lot and couldn't see S*it!!!!
Hope this helps
