Whats This Wire Do?

coming out of the loom near the battery. tis black and yellow, connects to another b+y wire via bullet connector. end of the wire was just hanging there. its not a previous bodge as it looks to be a genuine fixing but im buggered if i know where it goes.

Any ideas peeps?

no worries guys. just seen it on the online manuals. goes to the neg side of the battery.
