I need help converting my imported headlight to a uk legal headlight for mot.I've already bought one on ebay and when i got it i thought it was the wrong one as there is only one bulb inside my headlight but there was two headlights inside the uk one..my bike is an 02 l9 model.

UK headlights for the ZXR have two bulbs mate. Problem you probably have is that you only have one bit of wiring for one bulb, right?
Not sure how you get round that one, i have the same problem on my 7R, the wiring is slightly different for a UK headlight but i got mine to work none the less. But i do believe all i need to do is buy a uk wiring loom that connects all the front lights up, but i think they are wired straght into the main loom on the ZXR.

post up a pic of the bike mate, i've only ever seen 1 L model zxr400 with the single headlamp.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

why dont u just buy a converter sticker to stick on ya headlamp this alters the kick to a flat line and they carnt fail this
