Ignitor and pick up coils

are they the same for each bike - H and L models? i have a 1990 H2 ZXR400, just wondering coz im having major probs with it starting and im getting to that stage where im gona sell her.

if you give us full details, we may be able to help. ytour ht coils are the sameon all the bikes. i think there are two types of pick up coil ( eg the one on the side of the engine where it does your timing).
my h1 has one that sits at the bottom, but i think there is one that sits in the top on the later models.
have you checked your plugs?
does your battery keep its charge?
how old is the battery?
how old are the plugs?
how old is the fuel?
what does it run like when its fired up?
have you checked the spark on the plugs, as you may need new ht lead/ lugs/ coils?
