now heres a doozy for ya

when turning over the bike, if i pull in the clutch, once or rapidly many times the starter circuit splutters. keeps turning over but pulling the lever in makes it stutter.


any ideas

sounds like the clutch switch might be dirty or faulty mate.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

^ wot he said. Does in only do it in gear? if so then its deffo the clutch cut out. I've modded my wiring to get rid of both the clutch and sidestand cut-outs and I've done it all at the ecu/fusebox end so I dont have the cable connections to go wrong either.
