So who's fitted.....
Has anyone ever fitteda different rear end on the zxr then? Im about to buy a Zxr but id like to find out the different possibilities of fittin a nice rear end like a R6 kinda shape thing. Anyone ever found different rear ends to put on?

1999 R1 rear end fits well.

its a very popular seat unit, i bought an R1 rear plastics when i had my 400 i offered it upto the zxr subframe and you could have bolted it straight on.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

i think the actual tail unit looks ok, just the gaping holes where it doesn't join up with the frame give it away.
