prepairing fairings.

hi,
just looking to get some cheap second hand fairings, originals if possible. but most have some deap scratches where they've been down the road. what do people use to remove the scratches? whats the technique (as it were ;)) and anything else that i should look out for?

have you tried jml scratch remover its bloody good stuff!!
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

deep scratches start off on a really coarse wet and dry or even a file as i did. Work up in grades of paper until you can run your finger across the area and feel no bumps, this will mean surrounding paint will also be flatted off.
