So the mounting plate for my end can has been bent and is causing the can to sit at a strange angle.
Anyone got experience with bending these back?
I'm worried it'll just snap.
I'll get some snaps in the morning.

Re: Bent mounting plate
Stick it in a vice, use the vice to straighten it. No other tools needed.
If it goes fuxord, get a replacement from BikeBunker on here.

Re: Bent mounting plate
Might want to heat it first before bending as it will probably snap!

Cheers for the heads up!
I've got a butane torch, a bench vice and numerous hammers.
Reckon that'll do it?

Re: Bent mounting plate
dont use a hammer.
open the vice enough for the bent section to fit in.
heat the mounting plate
place in vice legnthways across the vice
close vice
let the vice do the work.

Re: Bent mounting plate
The plate is straight but it is bent in relation to the pipes. I should have made that clear.
Pipes are straight but can sits an an angle with a slight rotation.
