Re: running problems!
ive seen the o-rings that seal the brass float valve holders into the carb body perish allowing fuel to piss into the float bowls continuously.. (zxr's have a fuel pump that is switched by line pressure) this starts out as a midrange splutter with the bike needing to clear its throat before pulling cleanly and progresses with time into an inability to rev-out.. had me foxed for a while because the plugs looked fine.. which they would, the rest of the time the mix was spot on ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
whip the airbox off, start the engine, rev it and keep an eye on the carbs .. the one that aint right (whether it is what ive described above or something different) will be lifting the slide at a different rate to the others and probably spitting fuel all over the shop ..
course its possibly something dead simple like .. ooh, choke stuck on.. ?

Re: running problems!
I am much obliged, as that sir was a kindly retort
Good luck with the running problems; as The Redex Master himself says: they are fkkin superb bikes when all is running dandy.
In fact...don't think I've ridden any other bike so close to the limiter so much of the time with everything feeling so damn good

Re: running problems!
do you think that it could be my fuel pump relay not giving my fuel pump enough power that is causing my missfire???
jst an idea??![:smt017](./images/smilies/017.gif)
