Hi all, I'm new to this forum as i've just picked up a ZXR400L to play with.
I've got a problem with it though, It won't start!!!! A mate of mine bought it with the same problem and reckoned that he fixed it (bodged) with different coils,
I have a vague spark which seems to track to the edge of the plug rather than on the centre of the electrode??? any ideas? also how do the coils attach to the frame as mine were cable tied on???
Cheers Lee

Re: I've lost my spark
the coils are usually held on with bolts and spacers on the inside of the frame above the rocker cover. I'd check the coils over, use the manuals and a multi-meter to check them over, then make sure your battery is fully charged and also might be worth putting in new plugs.
