as stated on the other page, my bike has the hot starting problems.
i am not sure if i have got bad ht leads or coils.
i know with a car to test ht leads, take em of, fire the engine and you should see a spark or many of them as well as a click noise.
well this isnt happening on my bike.
everything eems to be fine, bar firing up at the moment.
the bike had sat for quite a while before i got it,
so does this sound plausable, and if so where should i get replacement ht leads from.
my bike is currently restricted by the cdi, due to haviung a mph speedo on it.
i have turned the cabs down to 1.5 screws on th mixers, as seemed a little rich at 2.25.?
my neutral light comes on when the clutch lever is pulled in.
any ideas why.
my bike also has a tendency to cut out at junctions, eg will be reving fine then jus go dead.
i need help asap as i really love the bike and want to get it running spot on.
steve
a couple of problems!!!

Re: a couple of problems!!!
i have to come to the conlusion that the battery being new, needed a proper good charge on the optimate, so thats what its getting. i wanna sort my cdi/ restriction out asap, as i think this is playing havk with the bike.
i have fond some l dials, with a de restrictor plugged in. i wanna get these and plug them in, wicked, to solve the restriction problem.
i think the hot start problems are not enough battery gumph, so hoepfully, we will see in the next few das.
i am also gonna whip the plugs out and check the mixture, as i fell it may be slightly weak now.
ill let you know tomorrow.
any ideas are welcom
