Newbie ZXR400 Owner

Post by Little Loris »

Hi,

I've just bought a ZXR400 H model and finishing it off as a trackday or race bike for 2007. There's a bit of work needed to it and I'm not the most mechanically gifted person but its my first bike project and I'm determined to get it sorted for the summer! So, expect a lot of dumb questions from me! :smt003

I also have a Honda NC30, which I bought in a mess and have gradually cleaned it up to its original spec. Still a bit to go though! Look forward to speaking with you lot a bit more often!

Haha, thats what i did! worth doing if you can take the hassle from the missus about engine bits and oil stains an all that goes with :smt003

Im also new to ZXR's, but saying that, im new to bikes! Done alot of work on cars so am trying my best with the ZXR. Got top end partly stripped trying to find the source of a noise problem, nearly sorted now just gotta find some more time to do it!

All the best![/quote]

Jackson, at least you've got yours started! I haven't even attempted that yet.

BigNinjaDave, I'm from deppest, darkest Devon.

My missus went ape when she found out what I'd bought. I don't think all the washing up in the world could make up for it. Still, its a man's love for a bike and a woman's love for a man that makes it all worth while! Nuff respec to the missus.

Oh, and lots of 'what does this do' and 'where does this go' questions to follow I'm sure.

Exeter. Am a member of South West Bikers if you're from around that way too. Perhaps we could meet up for a ride out if the weather stays fine sometime!
