Good Colour
Double bubble screen mini indy's and I like your funky Green hoses too !
Have to say if mine rattled like that I would be a wee bit concerned - what mileage is it reading?
Was that it creating a smoke cloud down your street in the night shot?
Oh, and do you live in Neilston?
MM!

Cheers! Seen 'em live a few times now.masterofinsanity wrote:did you paint the hoses??

Hoses simply have green tape round em, done it to see what it would look like if painted and just left it

Mileage is about 20k, that was the smoke cloud, but it was very cold that night and was just started after being flooded (extra fuel = extra smoke?).Mori Man wrote:Good Colour![]()

A neighbour who says it's typical Kawasaki, two guys from other bike forums (one of them is on here) say it sounds the same as theirs.
I'll take it to a garage when I get my full licence and see what they think.

Re: Aloha from Glasgow
like others have said get it looked at mate.
zxr's sometimes are harmlessly noisey, but its the clutch that rattles on them, i noticed you pulled your clutch in on the vid there, and the noise did'nt go....
probs only cam related, but worth sortin before it causes more serious probs.

There's plenty info around here as to how and check it, if your competent with tools give it a go.Monstrous wrote: I keep getting different says on this.

Even if you only remove the cam cover and take close up shot's of your cam's and rocker arms and post up, we'll be only to happy to rip into them

You'll get info on how to move the rocker arms away and view the pad on them - if your not using the bike daily it's worth doing just now and only costs a bit of your time.
Even if it turns out to be something sinister there' enough knowledge round here for you to sort it yourself. Hopefully it's just needing a damn good service, when you said it was flooded out are you having starting problem's with it? As long as your not getting that smoke cloud every time you fire it up cold then there's nothing to worry about.
My own bike sat for 3yrs and only smoked momentarily while it burnt off the carb cleaner when I got it running again and the clutch doesn't make that much noise that I feel the need to pull in the lever (Which I do before starting as there's no point in the starter motor spinning that too). It's a runner so your starting from a good place

If it helps at all, the clicking noise seems to be coming from under the fuel tank, about half way along it ?
