Hi saw some decent info on this forum so thought I'd join.
Had a few bikes before the zxr, had a ts50, rg125, dt125, rs125 and now moved onto my H1 ZXR.
It's currently dead as I broke part of the camshaft holder changing the cam chain lol, will be back in action soon though, can't stand the bus anymore lol.

Welcome to the frum and nice ZXR!

Do you mean you broke the cam caps? Youll be needing a new head if you have, they are machined individual to each head. So no two are the same.

Not the actual caps luckily, it's the bit at the end on the RHSthat supplies it with oil, didn't realise it wasn't sat in the hole properly so just bent it and snapped it. First time I've done anything like that to a big 4t engine though, rebuilt 2t engines from the ground up but don't have much in the way of experience with 4t's atm.

Yeah it's not a bad little bike though, fairing's want a good tidy up though, looking a little tired after 20 odd years.
