Welcome to the club!
What were you riding before? My 400 was also my first 'big' bike, after a Yamaha TZR125(ish) and a month or two with an Aprilia AF1 125. It was a very welcome system shock the first time I took it out and opened it up down a bypass!
Keep it safe out there!

Hi
You don't need to have photos hosted anywhere to post them up. Just do your post and then underneath the box where you write your message there's a blue area with two tabs - the 'Options' one will be showing, so click on the other 'Upload Attachment' tab. You then simply browse through the files on your computer and upload directly using the facilities on the tab. However, you might need to resize them first using Paint or Office Photo Manager as if the files are too big they'll be rejected.
Easy. Let's see some pics!

OMG never noticed that tab before.......................getting pictures up is suddenly even more easy.
However with hosting on photobucket there is no need for resizing or at least not with any picture I've posted

Pretty! I've never been drawn to the h models, mind's an l5, but i must confess, i'm loving the roundeyed look! Looks good with the db screen. If it's anything like mine you'll find It's more stable at speed than anything else I've ridden. Before now I've been adjusting my heated grips on the back straight at mallry park at 120! My next target, since i can't do good wheelis, is to practise getting hand down on left hand corners - reaching out and running you finger through the dust at speed whilst leant over! Not so easy on right handers though...
i know what you mean about keeping it. The whole thing is just such good quality you'd have to spend alot more money to get another bike as good. And there's not much on it that rusts, so they take quite well to winter use!

I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).

Hmm....... nice that. I like the red / black /silver paint scheme, always fancied a 750 in those colours. Could never afford one back in the day but now i'm an old fart and the bikes are cheap. Would have to hang on to the 400 mind........
