First bike... Hello!

Just thought I'd say hello to everyone.

I'm dan, not passed my test just yet but iv managed to pick up an N reg zxr 400 with 23 thou on the clocks!

My dad used to have a zx9r so this bike should suit me down to the ground!

I pick it up on Saturday so il fire some pics up when I can :) the bike is overheating atm so il be picking your lots brains to help me out...

Either headgasket, waterpump or thermostat???

That's the only things o can think of untill I have a further look any suggestions?

I'm sure il be able to tell you abit more on Saturday.

How much will it rufly cost me to repair the headgasket? I.e other gaskets bolts bits and bobs? And where's the beat place to source parts?

Off the top of my head I'm not certain how much a head gasket is but it's not too bad I know that.

Thanks for that matey.

Newbie question now but what exactly would I need for a head gasket change? Any other things other than the gasket itself?

I no basic things about engines as you can tell just needing some advice before I buy things I don't need lol
