Hi - newbie :)

Post by hanz »

Hi,
new to the site just wanted to say hello.
Ive recently bought a zxr 400 1994 in unlimited green and getting it restricted at the garage now as I have just passed my a2 licence a few weeks ago.
Had a honda cbr 125 2006 since february, recently sold.
I'm quite small, so the zxr is perfect and i look forward to riding it soon! biggrin

Hello there, nice looking bike, nice looking rider! smiler You riding it now then? What do you think of it? My bikes restricted too, can't wait to take em out though! Oh and do you where I can get that screen from? Been looking but can't find it anywhere! (light smoke dubble bubble)

Hiya! thanks :) its still at the garage having some work done on the brakes but should be ready end of this week.. cant wait!! yeah im guessing all riders with the restriction just wanna take them out lol. I bought the bike with that screen on so i guess you'll just have keep looking. Gumtree often has odd screens for them, if people are selling parts. Where abouts are you? Anywhere near Dorset?? I need a few people to go for rides with, I've been looking up clubs but dont seem to have much luck in this area! :smt012

Erm, nope! Miles and miles away I'm in Sheffield! You're just about to get out on your bike and I've just put mine away! My brakes need sorting too as luck would have it, need a new master cylinder :( Hope you have fun on your bike and you find some people to ride with smiler

hi i have just recently been bought a zxr 400 by husband absolutly love it. unfortunatly im nowhere near you either or i would have come out for rides with you. have a look in the kawasaki forum too or other bike clubs. the problem you will have now is the fair weather bikers will tuck their bikes up for winter lol. i have to ride all year round or i wont get to work so i ahve a gs 500 for work.
mr luke there is tinted screens for the zxr 400 on ebay about £ 20
