Leeds Newbie

Post by zxrjamiel9 »

Hello all i am a new user to this and would like to intraduce my self to you all,
Well my names Jamie and i and 19 and from leeds i west yorkshire. i love riding my pride and joy and my bikes are well looked after im just looking to become faster.

I will try and get some of pictures of my old bike and my new bike but my new bike is under cosmetic surgury ;) needs a perfect paint job to go with a stunning bike :)

My current bike is a kawasaki zxr400 l9 i did have a zxr400 l2 previously and owed her for around 30 months and she was dynoed with a blueflame twinport exhaust with scorpian down pipes but she had to got and with it being my first big bike it was hard letting go.

My new bike has had done to it - official full power uk spec bike (not a restricted grey import). as you can see in some of the pics its had a complete strip down and rebuild, powder coated parts include main frame / swingarm / subframe / rear footrest hangers and grab handles / upper h frame and clock mount / rear brake stay arm / wheels and various other bits and bobs all in gloss black. complete professional respray (cost £600) on undamaged original kawasaki fairings, new pads all round + headstock bearings, goodridge braided hoses, fork lowers stripped back and 3 coats of gloss black + lacquered, polished bits include top yoke / exhaust hanger / front footrest hangers / petrol filler cap, new chain and sprockets, stainless steel race headers with hand made alloy link pipe and stubby twin port polished slip on can (also straight through and sounds awesome!!). dyno jetted carbs with K&N filter, iridium plugs. mini carbon indicators, ebc prolite discs, double bubble screen, new grips.

engine has had a top end refresh including shims / head gasket / camchain + guide, it runs / sounds mint and doesnt even suffer the normal zxr400 clutch rattle on tickover. there is loads of other stuff

Jamie .
P.s Looking forward to reading peoples posts and talking to new people :-)
