Hello Ivan and welcome. Its always good to see new members introduce themselves.
I dont know how things are in you part of the world be here most rider training schools will hire you a 125 while you are training and for your test. Cost will vary so shop around. You might try yellow pages to find rider training schools near to you.

Firstly you'll need your cbt which normally costs 100 quid hard to fail aswell then book your theory which is 35 after that's passed find an instructor they usually charge 30 quid an hour an considering you have years on the road it'll just be a case of learning to manoeuvre the bike etc so then do your mod 1 which was 15 quid for me but you'll have to pay for the instructor and then mod 2. Mod 1 can be a bitch bits it's fairly simple in what you have to do. I used a 125 to pass my test as I'm only 18 but I hope that helps also mod 2 is £75
Ride it like you stole it

hello and welcome, excuse my ignorance and laziness to search google but where is canvey island? sounds nice :smt001 why are you set on a H2 model? any particular reason? regards passing a test as far as i know its cbt for 125cc then 2 years on a cbt, if you haven't got a full licence by then you have a break for 12months, or do direct access ( and you'll need to do theory as well) which means you can ride anything.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

hello firstly thanks for the welcome, well canvey island is just off benfleet, and that being about 8miles from southend-on-sea.sounds nice!its ok.
why iam i set on a H2 just love the look of the frount.as i said i rember them when thay first came out and from that day have wanted one so now i feel its the right time.a lot of people are trying to get me to have a more powerful bike witch i dont feel happy&safe with, iam not going to able to ride a 400 to its limit iam i? (well not yet)i think it will be more than fun for me to ride as iam only looking to ride on a sunny day not day in day out.
iam trying to hunt a mates h2 down that at the time turned down when he sold it,its been sat for two years unused to it will need a good going over witch is what i would like to do,so i know my way around one.as ive never worked as such on a bike, only plenty of older classic cars so iam fine with a set of tools!
currantly starting to look out for rideing gear etc.
if anybody is in the area and would like a cupper&chat feel free.
